The Colossus poppy pod is one of the larger pods measuring approximately 2.5 inches across and 3 inches in height and it is possible for the pods to grow even larger. The Colossus pod is a golden mushroom in color to compliment any dried floral arrangement and is often speckled with darker spots near the top. The pods are wide and bulb shaped with the toothed top known only to the Papaver somniferum species that give the pods the exceptional appearance when used in home décor that is not found in other types of pods.
The pods are professionally dried containing the seeds on long stems, which gives them the ability to look amazing on their own or in an arrangement. The neutral golden mushroom color allows them to be mixed with any other colors or types of dried floral or to stand alone because of their long stems.
