The Q In A To Z Poppies

The letter Q in A To Z poppies stands for the Queen poppy often referred to as the Drama Queen poppy and it also goes by the reference of Ladies Red Hat garden poppy. This poppy is one of the traditional poppies and is from the Papaver somniferum family.

The blooms of the Drama Queen poppy are unlike other poppy blooms they are a red and purple mixture, with saw toothed ends on the petals.
